This is the start of my 15th year in education. Across that time I have represented LCSD in many different capacities across multiple school zones. I have coached, driven a school bus, taught in a classroom, and served as a TA but for the past five years I have been the head principal of West Lauderdale Elementary, but I am so excited about this new opportunity and to be apart of Trojan Nation! On a personal note I have been married to my lovely wife for 13 years and we have three beautiful children. It’s a great day to be a Trojan!

It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the new 2nd assistant principal. With 15 years of experience in Education, I have served in the following roles: 

  • Mentor Teacher 

  • PBL/MTSS Coordinator

  • PBIS Chair 

  • School Testing Coordinator

  • Academic Coach/Lead Teacher

Now, as a part of the administrative team at NEMS, I am committed to supporting teachers, serving students, and fostering strong partnerships within the community. In addition to my professional life, my family is incredibly important to me. Rodrick and I take great pride in being parents to  four amazing children. Go Trojans!
